I. SS Expression (through painting, craft, fabrics etc.)

About the Event:

We invite expressions from students about what they think about road safety, how it can be made more effective, what are the issues that they think are important to be addressed etc. They are free to express using any medium like paper painting, oil on canvas, fabric design, craft etc.

Categories for Participation:

A: Pre-Schoolers (pre Class I students)

B: Kids (Class I-III students)

C: Juniors (Class IV-V students)

Recognition:

1. Certificate of Participation (CoP) shall be given to each participant.
2. Uploaded Image of the Expression shall be displayed on our portal SadakSuraksha.in, which will continuously record number of views, downloads and ratings. If the mobile number is added to the image, details can be seen by the individual easily (to easily locate out of number of uploaded images) anytime. We expect them to view such details many years down the time.

Rules & Regulations:

1. The last date of uploading the details on the portal is 15 Sep, 2018. No request shall be entertained thereafter.
2. School has to upload the details including images of the expression. No uploading request shall be entertained by the organizers.
3. If a student is interested to write a message, it should be on the expression only.
4. School is expected to ensure that the expressions are made by the students for the event only.
5. It is expected that the school should keep the expression in safe custody for fifteen days from the last date to facilitate any queries made by the organizers. Thereafter it is free to use it in any way or return it to the student. 
6. By participating in the event, it implies that the student and the school have given SadakSuraksha.in the right to use the image of the expression for display on its portal or through any other means. SadakSuraksha.in shall use the expression under due attribution to the student and the school.
7. SadakSuraksha.in shall also have the right not to display any expression without mentioning any reason.
8. The decision of the team from SadakSuraksha.in shall be final and binding.
9. All disputes related to the event shall be under jurisdiction of New Delhi courts only.

Participation Fee:

There is NO participation fee.

Procedure:

1. School should register on SadakSuraksha.in portal and verify its contact number and email address.
2. Details of interested students (Name, Admission no., Class-Section, Date of expression, Mobile and image of the expression) are required to be uploaded. Mobile number is optional.
3. No expression is required to be sent to SadakSuraksha.in in physical form through courier, post etc.
4. A few good photographs of the event are required to be uploaded.

II. SS Info Alert (responding info questions online)

About the Event:

We invite students to try a questionnaire online through our portal to ascertain their information level about road safety related issues. Attempting such questions would help them understand the information including its reasoning on the issues.

Categories for Participation:

A: Juniors (Class III-V students)

B: Active  (Class VI-VIII students)

C: Seniors (Class IX-XII students)

Recognition:

1. Certificate of Participation (CoP) containing score obtained and percentile shall be given to each participant.

Rules & Regulations:

1. Students can appear for the SS Info Alert online from 10 Aug, 2018 (08:00 hrs) to 15 Sep, 2018 (17:00 hrs). No request shall be entertained thereafter.
2. School has to upload the details of students. No uploading request shall be entertained by the organizers.
3. A student can appear for the SS Info Alert online only once. Please ensure net connectivity, computer system and power supply accordingly.
4. It is expected that the school shall provide computer systems with good internet connectivity for the event.
5. The Certificate of Participation shall be available for download from the portal after 20 Sep, 2018.
6. SadakSuraksha.in shall have the right to withhold result of any or all students without assigning any reason.
7. The decision of the team from SadakSuraksha.in shall be final and binding.
8. All disputes related to the event shall be under jurisdiction of New Delhi courts only.

Participation Fee:

There is NO participation fee.

Procedure:

1. School should register on SadakSuraksha.in portal and verify its contact number and email address.
2. Details of interested students (Name, Admission no., & Class-Section) are required to be uploaded. Thereafter list of username and password for each student can be downloaded. Each student should keep their login details safely.
3. Separate login credentials issued by the portal should be used by each student. They should not use login details of other students.
4. Category-wise details of the online test are as follows:

1. Questions would be related to road signs, traffic rules, rights & duties of citizens on roads etc.
2. A few good photographs of the event are required to be uploaded.

III. SS Suggestions

About the Event:

We invite suggestions from students which they would like to make to improve road safety aspects. These suggestions could be some improvements in their locality or some road stretches which they are using daily and think some immediate changes for betterment road traffic or something on road safety which they are passionate about.

Categories for Participation:

Recognition:

1. Certificate of Participation (CoP) shall be given to each participant provided suggestion is meaningful.
2. Suggestions shall be displayed on our portal SadakSuraksha.in alongwith the student details to invite comments from the general public.

Rules & Regulations:

1. The last date of uploading the details on the portal is 15 Sep, 2018. No request shall be entertained thereafter.
2. Suggestion can be given by a single student or by a team of students. In case of team, group photo is to be uploaded.
3. School has to upload the details. No uploading request shall be entertained by the organizers.
4. School is expected to ensure that the suggestions made are related to road safety only. Please note that the suggestion should be complete in information so that it can be implemented in case appropriate authorities like to implement, such as location details if some specific location is specified in the suggestion and so on.
5. By participating in the event, it implies that the student and the school have given SadakSuraksha.in the right to display the suggestion on its portal or through any other means. SadakSuraksha.in shall use the suggestion under due attribution to the student and the school.
6. Organisers reserve the right to moderate the content of the suggestion if deemed fit for the purpose.
7. The Certificate of Participation shall be available for download from the portal after 20 Sep, 2018.
8. SadakSuraksha.in shall also have the right not to display any suggestion without mentioning any reason.
9. The decision of the team from SadakSuraksha.in shall be final and binding.
10. All disputes related to the event shall be under jurisdiction of New Delhi courts only.

Participation Fee:

There is NO participation fee.

Procedure:

1. School should register on SadakSuraksha.in portal and verify its contact number and email address.
2. Details of each suggestion are to be entered separately. One document file can also be uploaded describing the subject. Each suggestion should be accompanied by the details of the student or team alongwith a photo.
3. No document is required to be sent to SadakSuraksha.in in physical form through courier, post etc.

IV. SS Activities

About the Event:

School can plan and organize any activity on road safety and share the details to be displayed through our portal. We also invite details of any road safety related activity or event you had organized in the present academic session 2018-19 and if you want to share it with the world through our portal.

Recognition:

1. Certificate of Appreciation (CoA) shall be given to the school.
2. School gets another opportunity to showcase the efforts of students towards road safety through a global platform. It helps in motivating students further and may result in better accomplishment of overall objective.

Rules & Regulations:

1. The last date of uploading the details on the portal is 15 Sep, 2018. No request shall be entertained thereafter.
2. Activity may be organized afresh or must be organized in the academic session of 2018-19.
3. There must be atleast one photograph or evidence that reflects the date of organsing the vent in the valid period.
4. School has to upload the details. No uploading request shall be entertained by the organizers.
5. By participating in the event, it implies that the student and the school have given SadakSuraksha.in the right to display the details of the activity on its portal or through any other means. SadakSuraksha.in shall use the details under due attribution to the student and the school.
6. The Certificate of Appreciation shall be available for download from the portal after 20 Sep, 2018.
7. SadakSuraksha.in shall also have the right not to display any information about the submission without mentioning any reason.
8. The decision of the team from SadakSuraksha.in shall be final and binding.
9. All disputes related to the event shall be under jurisdiction of New Delhi courts only.

V. SS SP Storyline

About the Event:

SadakSuraksha.in got created and copyrighted two characters viz. Sadak Pappu and Sadak Suraksha. Sadak Pappu is a male naughty character who uses road erratically whereas Sadak Suraksha is a female character who suggests rules, regulations or right way of using road. Sadak Suraksha corrects Sadak Pappu on his erratic or wrong driving.

We invite storylines from students suggesting actions that can be carried out by Sadak Pappu and Sadak Suraksha communicating road safety issues. The objective of making storylines is to convert them into comics, images, and videos/animations so that the message can be shared to wider audiences with more effectiveness.

Categories for Participation:

No specific category

Recognition:

1. Certificate of Participation (CoP) shall be given to each participant.
2. Participants shall get due credits in case the script/storyline is converted into comic or video/animation.

Rules & Regulations:

1. The last date of uploading the details on the portal is 15 Sep, 2018. No request shall be entertained thereafter.
2. School has to upload the contents. No uploading request shall be entertained by the organizers.
3. By participating in the event, it implies that the student and the school have given SadakSuraksha.in the right to use the content of the storylines as it deemed fit through any means. SadakSuraksha.in shall use the storylines under due attribution to the student and the school.
4. The Certificate of Participation shall be available for download from the portal after 20 Sep, 2018.
5. SadakSuraksha.in shall also have the right not to use any storyline without mentioning any reason.
6. The decision of the team from SadakSuraksha.in shall be final and binding.
7. All disputes related to the event shall be under jurisdiction of New Delhi courts only.
